Sarah Bormann is a General Surgery Unaccredited Registrar at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia, with clinical and academic interests in breast and endocrine surgery. They completed a Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University. She is a proud Nyikina woman from Derby, Western Australia. Her work explores Aboriginal surgeon representation and its impact on clinical practice, alongside research into Aboriginal women’s breast cancer outcomes She has contributed to research, quality improvement projects, and presentations that highlight disparities in surgical access and cancer survival. Committed to education and mentorship, Sarah supports the next generation of clinicians to deliver equitable and culturally safe care that improves health outcomes.
