Winnie is a final year medical student from the University of Western Australia with a strong interest in pursuing a career in surgery. She has been involved in multiple research projects across a range of surgical specialties, contributing to both clinical and academic work. These experiences have fostered a particular interest in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery. Winnie is motivated to further develop her research and clinical skills and is keen to engage in academic surgery as part of her future training. She hopes to in future contribute meaningfully to surgical research and patient care.
