I am a Critical Care Medical Officer early in my career, working for SA Health. I have a keen interest in the application of novel anaesthetic techniques to reduce symptom burden post-op and improve the patient experience. This led to me working with a innovative group of specialists exploring the role of Vagus nerve block – an extension of regional anaesthesia – in reducing post-operative nausea and vomiting in bariatric surgery.
