Professional Bio
Weilin Wang, M.D., Ph.D., is Professor and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Zhejiang University, as well as President of the Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery Hospital of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He served as President of the First Affiliated Hospital (2015-2019) and then of the Second Affiliated Hospital (2019-2025) of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He was appointed Honorary Fellow of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2018 and named National Distinguished Doctor in 2024. His research primarily focuses on precision diagnosis and treatment of HBP tumors, liver transplantation, and combined organ transplantation.
