Dr Papageorge is an intro trainee for Orthopaedics in Vic/Tas for 2026. He is passionate about research that modernises our understanding of, and ability to diagnose disease processes. His current focus is on Spectroscopy and how this advanced chemical analytical tool can help us understand joint fluid and associated pathologies. For this reason, he has established a biobank of joint fluid samples at the Northern Hospital in Victoria, and is prospectively analysing samples with the aim of creating an adjunct diagnostic tool for Septic Arthritis, Gout, and Pseudogout.
