Zac Tay is an unaccredited General Surgery Registrar at Gold Coast University Hospital with a strong passion for trauma surgery and acute care. He is currently completing a Master of Traumatology through the University of Newcastle and remains actively involved in several local research projects. Zac teaches medical students from Bond and Griffith Universities, sharing practical insights from his surgical experience. Outside of work, he is an enthusiastic but very average golfer and a fitness enthusiast mostly in theory. He balances surgical life with curiosity, humour, and a commitment to improving trauma care and patient outcomes.
