A/Prof Susan Adams
Professional Bio
Susan Adams is a Senior Staff Specialist Paediatric Surgeon at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Research Fellow at The George Institute, and A/Professor in Paediatric Surgery in the School of Clinical Medicine, UNSW. She is appointed to the NSW Child Death Review Team for her injury expertise Susan has clinical interests in the areas of trauma, vascular anomalies, and neonatal surgery, including neonatal colorectal anomalies and their associated long-term follow up. Susan’s main research is in paediatric trauma. She currently has a clinician-led MRFF Grant to work on developing consistent trauma care for children, wherever they present across the trauma system.
