Samantha is a general surgery registrar currently based in metropolitan Victoria. During medical school, she completed an honours research year at Monash Children’s Hospital with Monash Children’s Simulation centre and the Department of Paediatric Surgery where her honours project was to start and coordinate a multisite randomised controlled trial, uniting a number of tertiary paediatric centres nation-wide. Since this time she has remained involved with the trial through its ongoing recruitment, and looks forward to presenting it today.
