Dr Ayu is an experienced senior general surgeon at the Mimika District Hospital in Papua, Indonesia (2011-present), with over a decade of leadership serving as Head of both the surgical and emergency departments, and Chair of the medical audit and quality assurance teams. She is a certified ATLS instructor with extensive experience in trauma, acute care surgery, and minimally invasive procedures. She is actively involved in national and international workshops, symposiums, and burn and trauma collaborations across the Asia-Pacific region, and is committed to clinical excellence, medical education, hospital safety, and community service through professional organizations and social health programs.
