Oscar Aldridge is a general surgeon and Head of Acute Surgery and Trauma Services at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, WA's largest referral hospital. A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, Oscar leads one of the country's longest-running acute surgical units, delivering high-volume emergency care across the spectrum of acute gastrointestinal, abdominal wall and trauma surgery. He is partner to Carly and dad to Alex, and came to surgery by way of the Australian Army.
