Dr Oliver Waddell is a final year general surgical trainee based in Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand. He has recently completed a PhD titled “studies into early-onset colorectal cancer”. This research explores several factors including the epidemiology, risk factors, microbiology, molecular biology, diagnosis, treatment, and the impacts on quality of life and sexual health. He graduated from Otago Medical school in 2012.
