Nazy is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with 20 years of experience in upper GI oncology and bariatric Surgery.  She developed the bariatric medical nutrition program of the St George Private Hospital, which was awarded Centre of Excellence status. She works at Shore Surgical Private Clinics, St Vincent’s and North Shore Private Hospitals. Nazy has a research interest and completed her PhD in investigating the impact of bariatric surgery on patients' nutritional status and diet quality. She has an academic role at the University of Wollongong and an active role on the scientific committees of several societies. Nazy has been accredited as a Bariatric Care Specialist and has received several awards for her contributions to clinical care and research in bariatric surgery.
