I am a final-year medical student at the Griffith Univeristy, soon to commence my internship at Gold Coast University Hospital. I grew up in India and moved to Australia to pursue medicine, where I developed a strong interest in cardiothoracic surgery, particularly minimally invasive approaches. During my cardiothoracic surgery rotation, I was involved in a uniportal subxiphoid thymectomy case, which was a unique and exciting experience that motivated me to share this technique with a wider audience. I am committed to further developing my surgical skills and contributing to the advancement of minimally invasive thoracic surgery in Australia.
