I am a junior medical officer in Western Australia with a strong interest in orthopaedic surgery and surgical education. I have completed rotations in orthopaedics and general surgery across tertiary and regional centres, gaining broad exposure to perioperative care and surgical decision-making. I am involved in clinical audits and research projects, including participation in a large systematic review examining bariatric surgery prior to total joint arthroplasty. This is my first formal presentation, and I am keen to further develop my research skills, particularly in study design, data analysis, and critical appraisal. I am motivated to improve the quality and impact of my academic work.
