Mikaela Mandato is a postgraduate year 2 doctor at Lismore Base Hospital in regional New South Wales. She completed her medical degree at Western Sydney University, including her final 18 months of training at the Rural Clinical School in Lismore. She has a strong interest in general surgery, with a particular focus on rural health. She is committed to developing her surgical knowledge and skills with the goal of pursuing surgical training in the future.
