Megge is currently working as a Trauma & General Surgery Fellow in Darwin. She trained in General Surgery across the length and breadth of WA, and grew up in a remote wheat & sheep community in the South East of WA, the first of her family to gain a university degree. She has extensive leadership and advocacy experience having led the WA Doctors in Training committee for many years, served on the state council and board of the WA AMA & is an experienced board director. She still serves Nationally on the Federal AMA Council & National Council of Doctors in Training. Proud to have helped inform national & state health policy & advocacy agendas, she counts many wins for trainees, women in medicine, & rural workforce among her proudest achievements. She is also Mum to two beautiful girls!
