Dr Mayura Iddagoda is a dual-trained physician in Geriatric and Internal Medicine and a Perioperative Specialist at Royal Perth Hospital, Western Australia. His work focuses on improving outcomes for older surgical and trauma patients through risk prediction and personalised care. He developed the OTOP (Older Trauma Outcome Prediction) model for risk stratification of older trauma patients and has led innovative multi-outcome prognostic modelling in clinical practice. He holds an ANZCA Graduate Certificate, a Master’s from Monash University, and a PhD in Perioperative Medicine from the University of Western Australia.
