Dr Marilla Dickfos is the current AANZHPBA Fellow at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She completed general surgery training in Queensland, followed by two hepatopancreatobiliary fellowship years in Melbourne. She holds a Master of Surgical Science from the University of Edinburgh and has a strong interest in academic surgery, surgical education, and complex HPB practice. Her clinical interests include pancreatic and liver surgery, multidisciplinary care, and perioperative optimisation, with a focus on delivering evidence-based, patient-centred outcomes.
