I’m a dual trained General Medical and Geriatric medicine specialist. I trained in Sheffield and Manchester UK originally. Moved to Perth over 10 yrs ago for my husbands’ Plastic Surgery fellowship. Now ageing WA parents to two school age children and two english springer spaniel canines. I currently work at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital as the neurosurgery Geriatrician and an MAU consultant. Completed a Masters in Peri Operative medicine and hold the ANZCA Chapter of Peri operative Medicine. Have been part of the working group for the new Australian Clinical Care Standards for Emergency laparotomy care I’m driven by my passion to improve collaboration with surgical colleagues to optimise patient outcomes and experiences.
