Kumail Jaffry is a Surgical Registrar. Having grown up in Mildura after arriving as a refugee, Kumail learned English and was fortunate to complete his Doctor of Medicine at Monash University. Kumail has had the opportunity to present his surgical research at international conferences in Japan and Switzerland and using the skills he has learnt he is committed to improving healthcare access for diverse communities across Australia. He also volunteers deliver multilingual health sessions reaching over 2,000 refugee women.
