Professional Bio
Dr Kate Martin AM MB.BS.BMedSci. FRACS. MTrauma. Kate is a General and Trauma Surgeon, and Deputy Director of Trauma at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Kate is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the Department of Surgery at the University of Melbourne. She is a director with the ATLS and DSTC faculties and is a member of the RACS Academy of Surgical Educators, with an active interest in surgical and trauma education. As part of the GSA-ANZAST Trauma Training Committee, Kate has been involved in establishing the PFET Program in Trauma, a program for Fellows of RACS. Kate is also the immediate past President of ANZAST (the Australian and New Zealand Association for the Surgery of Trauma).
