Kate Wilson is an experienced clinical trialist who held a key strategic leadership role in development, management, analysis and publication of academic phase II/IIII investigator initiated clinical trials conducted by the NHMRC Clinical Trial Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney from 2003-2023. Kate coordinated the ALaCaRT and RoLaCaRT-1 studies. Kate is a chief investigator for the NIHR/NHMRC funded POLARiS Study and is undertaking an PhD which shares the POLARiS focus - Low Anterior Resection Syndrome (LARS). Her PhD includes qualitative research with clinicians & patients, a systematic review, ANZ clinician survey and an Australian clinical audit.
