Professional Bio
Associate Professor Joe Dusseldorp is a Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon from the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse comprehensive cancer centre in Sydney. His research focuses on minimising donor site morbidity following bilateral DIEP harvest, optimising sensation after mastectomy, and the emerging role of robotic-assisted flap harvest. Clinically, he performs over 170 DIEP flaps annually and today he will speak today on the case for autologous breast reconstruction.
