Jo (Jiamin) Li is a surgical registrar early in her surgical career, currently based at Middlemore Hospital, Te Whatu Ora, New Zealand. She previously worked at Southland Hospital, gaining experience in a rural hospital setting and exposure to a wide range of general surgical practice. Jo is focused on building strong clinical foundations and delivering safe, practical patient care. She is involved in teaching fourth-year medical students and enjoys working in collaborative, team-based environments as she continues to explore a future career in surgery.
