Derek Roebuck is an Australian radiologist who worked in Hobart, London, Sydney, Los Angeles and Hong Kong before returning to London in 1999 to build an interventional radiology service at Great Ormond Street Hospital. His interests include arterial interventions, paediatric oncology and complex airway disease. He championed the development of advanced roles for nurses and radiographers in the paediatric interventional radiology team in London. He re-emigrated to Australia to become Professor of Paediatric Radiology at Perth Children’s Hospital and the University of Western Australia, where he is a small part of the best paediatric imaging team in the southern hemisphere.
