Dr. Atkins is an unaccredited General Surgery Registrar at Barwon Health. She has a strong interest in regional surgery, trauma and surgical education. She has a background in paediatrics, having moved from accredited basic physician training to pursue a career in general surgery instead. She has completed a Master of Traumatology (Surgery) through the University of Newcastle and holds an affiliate lecturer role with Deakin University.
