Associate Professor Carl Lisec is a senior trauma surgeon and Director of the Trauma Service at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he also works as a burn surgeon. His academic interests include trauma systems, severe injury, burns, and translational trauma research. He holds active leadership roles in research, education, and clinical service development.
