I am a general surgery principal house officer based at Cairns Hospital, Queensland. I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine in 2021 and recently completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney. I have a broad range of surgical interests having presented research at ANZMOSS, IFSO and AANZHPBA on topics ranging from micronutrition in bariatric surgery to efficacy of surgical bile duct exploration. I am passionate about general surgery and rural health having grown up in regional Queensland and now working with the rural communities of Far North Queensland.
