Bijit is the current SET 2 vascular surgery trainee at Lismore Base Hospital. Last year he completed training at Royal Hobart Hospital where this research was conducted. He is originally from Perth where he developed an interest in surgery and research, completing a Master of Surgery at UWA in 2019 in the application of computational fluid dynamics in risk prediction for type B aortic dissection.
