Dr Aniket Nadkarni is an intensive care specialist at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, and is completing his PhD through Adelaide University and the Royal Adelaide Hospital ICU. His PhD thesis is titled mitigating the short and long-term risks of stress hyperglycaemia, exploring incretin therapies, the physiological control of glycaemia in health and disease, and the complications of hyperglycaemia in sub-populations of the critically ill. His other research interests include neurocritical care, iatrogenic anaemia and innovative education techniques.
